CCPS 2012 BUDGET UPDATE
Despite all the heartfelt advocacy and dedication of CCPS staff, parents, students and community members, the Cecil County Board of Commissioners' final adopted 2012 operating budget will fund Cecil County Public Schools at a maintenance of effort level (a reduction of $1.2 million from the flat funding request submitted by the Board of Education). While the budget process has ended for this year, we encourage you to keep spreading the message that quality public education is a priority in Cecil County. Thank you to all who provided their support and gave their time to advocate on behalf of students!
