PTO Mission Statement/Initiatives
The Mission and Objectives of this organization are to:
- Promote the welfare of the children of Kenmore Elementary in home, school, and community.
- Raise the standards of home life.
- Bring a closer relationship between the home and the school so that parents and teachers may cooperate in the education of their children.
- Solicit parent and teacher active participation.
- Assist parents in the development of skills needed for the education and protection of children.
What Have We Done For You Lately?
PTO Initiatives- 2007/2008 Everyday Mathworkbooks for all students grades 2-5
- Free Movie Night
- Support Individual Classroom Baldridge Initiatives - helped to offset teacher cost for celebrating goal achievements
- 2008/2009 Help fund upgrading of Media Center/Library equipment
- Continue Individual Classroom Baldridge Initiatives
