Helping Families
The Family Bridge is a nonprofit organization that provides:
(1) short-term assistance and referrals to families
(2)opportunities to join affiliate programs which generate income for you and needy families
(3)access to low-cost/no cost services such as: mortgage broker services to take advantage of today's new lower mortgage rates; pre-paid legal services; and income tax preparation.
Our organization relies on you to access these opportunities and services to enable us to help others.
Seventy-five percent of families are currently or have in the recent past received some type of government assistance before moving into the workforce. Most state and federal programs provide minimal assistance for the emergency needs of these working poor families. The assistance requires paperwork and processing time which, in emergency situations, is most often not timely. Families are facing the loss of their homes at record numbers. That is where our organization will be the bridge over troubled waters.
RESOURCES, REFERRALS AND FUNDRAISERS
Referrals will be supplied to families in the form of the following:

Referral to a licensed mortgage broker servicing 40 states for assistance with home purchase or refinance even with credit issues, bankruptcies, or foreclcosures
Referral to tax preparation specialist for both current year and prior year tax preparation, both individual and small business
Opportunities for programs to generate income
Referral for utility payment assistance
Referral for medical assistance
Miscellaneous services as deemed necessary

A new FUNDRAISER page has been added. Our current fundraiser is the collection of used cellular phones for recycling.

Make a FREE $5.00 donation. PayPal will pay you $5.00 to open a free PayPal on-line account. Click the PayPal link to the left in the LINKS section to open your account. Then click the MAKE A DONATION button below to donate your $5.00 sign-up bonus to us for needy families. Cash donations may be made through PayPal via Debit card, Credit card or bank transfer by clicking on the MAKE A DONATION button below.
There are opportunities to assist families through the offerings on the FREE STUFF & MORE page. The commissions earned will be used for services to families. Click on FREE STUFF & MORE at the top left of this page to see the variety of ways you can help.

Send in empty ink or laser printer cartridges for recycling. In lieu of sending in the empties, you may wish to donate $3 which is the reimbursement we receive for recycling.
HOW CAN YOU HELP
There are several ways you can reach out to help a family cope with crises.
You can donate your time, professional services, gift certificates for food or furnishings, and cash donations. In addition, commissions or bonuses earned from clicking on any of the links in the LINKS section or on the FREE STUFF page are used to fund program services.

All services provided are given on a temporary basis. Referrals will be made to other agencies when necessary to enable families to seek any long-term aid which may be necessary. An administrator will oversee all operations and volunteers will work with the administrator in providing services. All payments made on behalf of a family will be made directly to the service provider.
