ABOUT OUR CLUB: We are currently celebrating our 50 years of serving our community, Our members serve our community and our willing to contribute their time and efforts toward making Saint Mary's a better place to live. Lions are an Internationl organization of 1.3 Million men and woman in 200 countries who work together to answer the need that challenge our communities around the world and in our home towns. We are known for working to end preventable blindness, assisting our communities, and providing aid when disasters occur. We enjoy our fellowship at our dinner meetings and activities that the club has planned; please browse our website for information on what we are doing in the community and upcoming events where everyone in the community is welcomed to attend.

WE MEET ON THE SECOND,WEDNESDAY OF EVERY MONTH AT SAINT MARY'S LANDING RESTAURANT IN THE BACK ROOM AT 7:30 P.M. EVERYONE IS WELCOME.

 
LIONS CAMP MERRICK 
Lions Camp Merrick is a project of Lions District 22-C. When started in 1979,it's set out to provide Deaf and Hard of Hearing children a summer residential program that was both educational and fun. Over the years the camp expanded its program and now offers services to blind adults, blind children and diabetic individuals. The camp goals are to promote education, creative expression and social growth in a manner that will enhance self confidence, social adjustment and self reliance. Camp activities are designed to accommodate campers of all ages and skill levels. The camping facilities, situated on the Potomac River, are surrounded by 320 acres of beautiful trees and native wildlife. This home away from home offier: Residential cottages and cabins, onsite health infirmary, swimming pool with bathhouse, recreation building, arts and crafts house, nature trails, and a challenge course and river access for water activities.

If you would like information on how:

  • Get a child to Lions Camp Merrick.

  • Become a volunteer or a summer counselor.

  • Provide long term or short term financial support for Lions Camp Merrick Programs.
