Weddings at Perryville United Methodist The first question that most people ask when they call about a weddings is whether they have to be a member in order to get married in our Church. The answer is, "no." In fact, we try to keep those two discussion as separate as possible.
Weddings are (most often) a service that the Church provides...membership is about commitment to Jesus and our ministry. The only difference between the way that members and non-members are treated is that non-members are required to pay some fees for the use of the facilities.

We do have some general policies that apply to everyone. 1. There will be NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES allowed in the building. 2. There will be NO SMOKING inside the Church building.
For weddings in particular... 1. NO RICE OR BIRD SEED may be used in the building. 2. Encourage your guests to refrain from taking flash photographs.
Weddings need to be scheduled at least four (4) months in advance.
