In Memory of the "Angelic Professors"

From the cradle to the grave we are exposed to people who imparted pearls of wisdom and keys of life.

For some of us these pearls came from our parents, family members or our friends.

All too often we did not recognize these God-sent teachers until they were physically absent from our midst.

The miracle of love is: God allows the spirit of wisdom encased in the words of these angelic professors to remain.

From their words we embraced hope, gained strength and decided to "Never Quit".

As the voice of gloom and doom attempts to capture our thoughts and issue forth from our mouths we will be reminded of the words of love and encouragement our departed loved ones shared with us.

When the cares of this life begin to toy with our emotions the presence of their spirit will remind us that tomorrow is another day and if it doesn't come we worried for nothing.

And, most of all their strong yet humble presence will admonish us

Be Strong without being Hard. Be Wise but not Arrogant

Be "Swift to Hear and Slow to Speak"

The mercy and grace of God, Perseverance, Prayer and Planning afforded me the opportunity to see the vision manifest of establishing and operating a supportive transitional facility for female ex-offenders. In 2001 the first resident moved into Y.E.S. House, Ltd and the rest and best is yet to come.

We are looking forward to expanding the vision to developing a larger facility.
