To assist female ex-offenders in the transition from incarceration to re-integration; Y.E.S. House, Ltd commits to providing safe and stable housing for a maximum of three women at a minimal fee. We willingly share our skills, God-given talents,resources and most importantly prayers to help in the rebuilding and strenghtening of the female ex-offender's spirit and emotions while she pursues,her goals reuniting with her family and/or acquiring permanent housing. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Y.E.S. House Board The Y.E.S. House, Ltd board consists of clergy and professionals representng the health, addictions,legal field and community.
The members have financial oversight, assist in fund raising,contribute resources; skills and finances.

Mission Y.E.S. House, Ltd is a non-profit ministry designed and incorporated to aid relationships between the ministry, community and women in need of help.
This ministry does not discriminate on the basis of race, color or national origin.
We believe, spiritual support sets the foundation for peace, harmony and trust.
In an effort to motivate stability, we encourage each resident to consider active involvement in the faith based initiative of their choice. |
Program Benefits Reintegration into society after being incarcerated or struggling with addictive behaviors, is a major challenge. Recent statistics confirm the astronomical increase in females being processed through the correctional system.
Y.E.S.House, Ltd. offers shelter, utilities and meals at a minimal monthly fee.
Through referrals and in-house presentations self-reliance is encouraged through mental health services, career counseling, motivational speakers, drug and alcohol support.

Abbreviated Profile of Founder Chaplain Marsha Thompkins
Marsha was born and raised in Newark, New Jersey.
Received formal education in the Newark, New Jersey public school system. Widowed mother of two adult children and one grandson Served under the leadership of Bishop Cornelius Showell and Archbishop Naomi C. Durant. Ordained to the General Ministry as an Elder in 1996 and later consecrated to the service of Chaplain with New Refuge Deliverance Cathedral, Inc. Received Bachelor of Ministry in Counseling degree, certification in Creation Therapy and Master of Divinity from the Family Bible Institute, College and Seminary in Baltimore, Maryland. In August 2009, Elder Marsha was honored with a Doctorate of Divinity degree from University of Family Bible in Baltimore, Maryland. To God be the Glory
The mercy and grace of God, Perseverance, Prayer and Planning afforded me the opportunity to see the vision manifest of establishing and operating a supportive transitional facility for female ex-offenders. In 2001 the first resident moved into Y.E.S. House, Ltd and the rest and best is yet to come. We are looking forward to expanding the vision to developing a larger facility.
