On September 13 we had our first State meeting with 36 members. The Department dues increase was approved and have been raised from $3.00 to $5.00. The Department bylaws were also approved, have been sent to National and they were approved.

October 21st York County Marines #1341 recieved their Charter. National Commandant James Laskey presided over the installation. Commandant Laskey presented four League members with the Distinguisted Citizen Award Gold, the highest award the Marine Corps League has. It was given to Gary Laweryson, Edward Hoyt, Richard Tolman and Alton Grant.
