The Somerset Ridge Runners ATV Club was founded on May 11, 2004 with the purpose to "educate, stimulate and advance the general welfare and safety of ATV recreation". We welcome new members at all times - no need to live in Hartland or own an ATV to join - just an interest and desire to form a common bond among local ATV and other outdoor enthusiasts.

Somerset Ridge Runners ATV Club covers the towns of Pittsfield, Palmyra, Hartland and St. Albans. The Club provides a way of exchanging all lawful and desirable information regarding the proper use and concerns of owning and operating an ATV.

Our main objectives include:
*Concern for the environment and respect for the land*
*Safe operation of ATV's*
*Respecting the rights of others*
*Encouraging the use of ATV's as a family or group activity*
*Cooperation with local police, fire and civil emergency agencies/organizations, by providing ATV's for emergency use*
*Working with government officals and landowners for mutally acceptable rules by which to operate your ATV*
*Developing a network of trails just like the snowmobile trails are today*
