Mission & History

Somerset Ridge Runners ATV Club covers the towns of Pittsfield, Palmyra, Hartland, Harmony, and St. Albans. The Club provides a way of exchanging all lawful and desirable information regarding the proper use and concerns of owning and operating an ATV. The Somerset Ridge Runners hold meetings on the second Tuesday of the month at the Hartland Town Hall at 7 p.m. (downstairs)

The Somerset Ridge Runners ATV Club was founded on May 11, 2004 with the purpose to "educate, stimulate, and advance the general welfare and safety of ATV recreation." We welcome new members at all times - no need to live in Hartland or own an ATV to join - just an interest and desire to form a common bond among local ATV and other outdoor enthusiasts.

Why Should I Join?

Membership in an ATV Club helps:

• Develop a network of trails just like the snowmobile trails are today
• Encourage safe use of ATVs
• Respect the rights of landowners
• Promote the use of ATVs as a family or group activity
• Improve the image of ATVs and its operators
• Raise money to aid needy families in our member towns
• Assist local police/fire departments with emergency response
