Soling 1 Meter

The Soling One Meter or S1M, based on the full-size 27' Olympic Soling, was sanctioned in 1993 as an American Model Yacht Association class . Since then, it has become the largest class in the AMYA.

The Soling One Meter is a low-cost, kit-based one-design class available only from Victor Model Products. This manufacturer also offers partially or fully assembled yachts.

The class rules insure that all boats are as close as possible with regard to hull, deck, keel, rudder, sails, displacement and ballast. The Soling One Meter sails extremely well, satisfying even veteran skippers with its balance and handling.
