Soling 1 Meter
  • The Soling One Meter or S1M, is based on the full-size Olympic Soling and was sanctioned in 1993 as an American Model Yacht Association class. (http://www.modelyacht.org/) . Since that time, it has become the largest class in the AMYA, with more than 800 registered boats.
  • The class rules are intended to insure that all boats are as close as possible with regard to hull, deck, keel, rudder, sails, displacement and ballast. The boat sails extremely well, satisfying even veteran skippers with its balance and handling.
  • The Soling One Meter is a low-cost, kit-based one-design class is only available from Victor Model Products. This manufacturer also offers partially or fully assembled yachts.

For an individual race date, dns, dnf, dnq is the number of boats that showed up to race plus one.
For an individual race date, if the skipper did not attend, it is the number of boats that have ever raced on one of the scheduled race dates plus one.
