We are located in Pinckney, Michigan, and have been growing and giving since 1997. In Our Community

Responding Everyday Against Community Homelessness (REACH)

The REACH program, organized and overseen by the Howell Salvation Army, provides overnight stays and meals for area homeless working toward independence. Arise church members donate time and meals twice yearly to this caring ministry.

Gleaners Livingston County Food Pantry

In September Arise members host a food drive for the Howell Area Gleaners Food Pantry. This year over 600 pounds of food was donated by the congregation.

Arise Youth Day Camp

For three days in July, the Arise youth group give of their time and energy to local missions.

Love In the Name of Christ, LoveINC

LoveInc is an organization that assists churches with local charity requests. The group takes calls from individuals seeking help and makes sure the requests are valid before passing them on to local missions.

Throughout the United States

Relay for Life

Arise joins in the Brighton "Walk for a Cure", to raise awareness and research funds for breast cancer each May. This year our church raised $2,000 for this worthy cause.

CROP Walk

Arise has participated in the Pinckney Community CROP Walk for over ten years. The community has raised thousands of dollars to help feed our local and nation's hungry.

Native American Ministries

"This Sunday serves to remind the Church of the gifts and contributions made by Native Americans to our society.".

United Methodist Students"United Methodist Student Day calls the Church to support students as they perpare for life in uniting faith with knowledge." (The Book of Discipline

World Communion Sunday

"World Communion Sunday calls the Church to be the catholic inclusive church."(The Book of Discipline) This mission assists racial- and ethnic-minority persons working toward careers in church-related vocations.

Human Relations Day

"The Purpose of this day is to further the development of better human relations."(The Book of Discipline)
