Boyne City Middle School PTO

Welcome to Boyne City Middle School PTO!

The Parent Teacher Organization at Boyne City Middle School is an active community of individuals working together to help build a positive environment for our middle school students. Stay in touch through our web site for the latest school news and events!

Fundraising during these times can be tough, but we want to ensure the kids get everything they need, and that's part of our job to provide extra income where needed. Last year we raised some funds for the payground that is in dire need of improvement. This year we raised funds for the Media Center.

There is so much more we want to accomplish and we need everyone's help. That is why we set up this website so people can be connected and find ways to help from home!

Please look on Ways to Make Money page. You can easily earn cash for your school without spending extra time and money! If we all try and utilize the resources there and pass it along to our family anf friends we can try to eliminate fundraisers that are time cosuming and unwanted! Thanks for your efforts and support! PTO

Ways to Get Involved!

We welcome anyone who would like to join our PTO! We really need to get more involvement. When the children come over from Elementary School they have more freedoms and we are finding that results in less communication between children and parents. No more Friday folders!! We need to make it a priority to seek out and ask, even if they aren't willing to provide us with all the info.

We hope this can be a source where parents can find information out and become involved. Please keep this site handy and perhaps make it to a meeting or two, we would love to have you!!

If meetings do not work for you there are other ways you can help, this site will let you know if we need volunteers and how you can help. You can keep updated by the minutes we post and if you want to add anyting to the agenda you can contact us at anytime though our emails!

We really want to make this a success!

STAY INFORMED
Below you can sign up for our email list. This will be an easy way for us to let you know what is going on. No, we aren't selling your email to lists and no we won't bombard you with too many mailings!

I am a mom of a 8th grade boy and I am ashamed to admitt he rarely passes me notes or lets me know what is going on! So, I know I have to find it out for myself, that was one reason I joined the PTO.

This year we have new board members and we would like your feedback on what you would like from the PTO in 2009-2010 and years to come. We will be putting together events for the upcoming year and would like to know what you would like to see happening at your school.
