Our next meeting will be on Thursday, August 13 at 3:00 p.m. at the senior center's Otisville room, near the computer room. Red Hat penny bingo babes will meet at 2:00 p.m...so bring those pennies

Those to bring in desserts for August are: Carol Shell, Diana Huempfner, Aileen Kunz and Evelyn Cameron.

Our next event will be Sunday, August 16 at 2 pm. for a Tea at the Product Shop on 5 Mile Rd (between Inkster and Middlebelt Rds). The cost is $20.00 for the sandwiches, scones, desserts and a tea cup and saucer. They will be having prizes etc. We can meet at the Senior Center to car pool at 12:25 pm. You have to make your own reservation by sending a check to: The Product Shop, 28464 Five Mile Rd., Livonia, Mi 48154. Make your check out to The Product Shop.

I mentioned that we probably will be going on the Princess Laura in Belleville, but that won't take place until Friday, September 4th at noon and the cost is $18.50 to eat on the boat.

Our next event is the boat trip on the Princess Laura in Belleville on Firday, September 4 at 12 noon.The cost for the boat and lunch is $18.50...without lunch it is $12.50. You can park along the street.

Our next event is on Thursday, September 10 at 2pm at the Lexington Club Apartments (2224 Golfside, Ypsi) for a talent show. There will be refreshments. You don't have to dress red hat.

Then on Friday, September 11th from 5-8 p.m., we are going to a Hawaiian Luau at the Ypsilanti Twsp Senior Center (2025 E. Clark Rd.) The cost will be $5.00. You can buy the tickets at the door. They ask that we dress as a tacky tourist!!!. If you want to carpool, meet at our center at 4:15 p.m.

On Saturday, September 19th at 1 p.m., we are going to the Lakeview Tavern (584 Main St....just over the bridge on the left and parking is in the back) for a hambuger and drink.

Our next event will be Tuesday, October 6th at 1:00 pm, we will be going to Ashford Place on Joy Rd., west of Neuburg Rd....across from CVS store....for a red hat lunch. We have to bring a $5.00 gift for the chinese auction. We will have fun with their red hat group. We can car pool at 12:45 pm at Meijers parking lot.
On Thursday, October 8th, at 12 pm, we are going to Deb's Catering & Cafeteria (in the Mi institues of Aviation & Technology Bldg., 17757 Woodlant Dr. in New Boston) for lunch. (Thursday is stuffed cabbage day.) if you want to car pool, meet at Meijers parking lot at 11:15 am...or you can take I 275 to Sibley Rd., turn right on Woodland...the building is on the right.
