2010 Winner - Sarah Fuhr 2003 Scholarship Winner
- Katherine Lauwers.
The award was presented at our Spring Concert by our Director,
Louis Canter and our President, Judy Judd. Katherine has been successful in both instrumental and vocal music
throughout her time at the Almont School District. Click
here for her complete resume. A $500 scholarship is awarded each year to a worthy senior who
will be pursuing a degree in vocal music at a college or university. The application
must be in by March 31. Applications may be received from your choir director
or by contacting the Lapeer County Concert Choir. A 3 point g.p.a. is required and they should be a member of either
a school or church choir. A letter of recommendation from your choir director
should accompany the application.
The $500 award was presented on July 12, 2010 by LCCC President, Betty Daley, and Secretary, Betty Smith.
