Welcome to Citizens United for a Decent Internet!

Fight to protect your right to protect your child We are an organization dedicated to cleaning up the Internet and making sure it is safe for children and represents the values of decent Americans.

This new medium of the Information Superhighway--created by brave Cold Warriors in the struggle against Communist aggression--has been handed over to us--the citizens that helped fund it with our tax dollars--to use for education, community, and commerce.

However, some people have sought to abuse this medium by using it for child pornography, hate, and the undermining of the family. These abuses must be met with resistance if our society is to survive this brave new cyber-world that we are entering.

It is important that everyone understands that the individual's freedom of speech comes with responsibilities to the community and to our youth. As the Apostle Peter once said:

"Act as free men, but do not let your freedom be a cover for evil."

04/06/2004 - AARP Condones Internet Pornography For Seniors

As reported by Agape Press, the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) -- acting though the advice column in its magazine -- has come out in support of Internet pornography for seniors.

"Levelheaded adults can enjoy erotic pictures in private without undermining their relationships, their immortal souls, or our republic."
- AARP Spokesperson

S.S. from Montana wrote in concerned for her husband who had succumbed to perversion and was viewing indecent materials illegally available over the Internet. Instead of putting her in contact with counselors trained to deal with sexual depravity, the AARP representative told S.S. to "reassure him that you don't think he's doing a bad thing, or that you're living with the devil," and went so far as to suggest that the pornography might "lead to a lot more fun for both of you."

Coming out in favor of Internet pornography, even if just for "levelheaded" senior citizens, is irresponsible behavior. Pornography has ruined the marriages of many young couples. Because the Internet is today being misused to shovel filth into our homes, many seniors -- who are naive about pornographic materials and unaware of their dangers -- are now finding their marriages being put in jeopardy too. Furthermore, the startling nature of the obscene images available today, waiting to spring forth from any random link, are enough to potentially cause heart attacks in our more delicate citizens.

This last threat is no mere boogeyman; just this February, longtime CUDI member Gary L. suffered a mild myocardial infarction when a "pop-up" window interrupted his Internet reading. Fortunately, the window only contained an advertisement and Gary is making a full recovery. However, had there been pornography in that window, the increased shock would have certainly killed Gary. AARP is supposed to represent the interests of seniors, not those who would murder them with obscenities.

Because of this blatant disregard for decency on our Internet, the sanctity of marriage, senior health, and the moral character of our republic, we are encouraging all members of CUDI to cancel their memberships in AARP.

06/23/2003 - Supreme Court Upholds CIPA

A victory for the family! The Supreme Court overruled a three-judge panel in Philadelphia that had sided against parents and with pornographers who wanted their filth to be available in public libraries where pedophiles could show it to little children in order to "groom" them for abduction and eventual sale into sexual slavery in Third World countries. The 6-3 decision upholds the Children's Internet Protection Act (CIPA), which requires libraries to put filtering software on their computers. CIPA is opposed by the American Library Association (ALA), a radical, left-wing group that has taken over our nation's libraries in their attempt to undermine parental rights. Stevens, Souter and Ginsburg were the three Justices who sided with pedophiles.

03/17/2003 - P2P: Porn To Pedophiles

So-called "P2P" sites -- which allow the direct and surreptitious trading of files between two computers -- are defeating Internet filters and allowing porn into people's homes, according to testimony from experts during a hearing of the House Government Reform Committee. Since they can't be accessed using a traditional browser and are often transient in nature, these sites are difficult for filter makers and law-enforcement to track and stop.

Popular among delinquent teens and college students who use them to pirate movies and music (which are often pornographic in their own right), lately these sites have been used by pornographers as a way to get their disgusting filth into the hands of minors. Even more disturbing, the secretive system of relays employed by the sites -- forming an ever-changing "network" of clandestine file traffickers -- is also inviting to pedophiles.

Since there is no legitimate use for P2P sites, the most effective filter in this case is the "delete" key. If your child has installed any of the programs used to access P2P -- with names like Napstar, Kazza, Nutella, and Bareshare -- you should uninstall them immediately.

12/11/2002 - JAMA: Internet Filters Are Effective

The Journal of the American Medical Association asks: "Does pornography-blocking software block access to health information on the Internet?" The answer -- which comes as no surprise to filter proponents and is contrary to anti-filtering propaganda from pornographers and pedophiles who would have people believe that filters block everything willy-nilly -- is that very little health information is blocked. The small percentage that is blocked contains mostly unhealthy misinformation on so-called "safe sex", as well as homosexual sex tips. The report does not mention if any abstinence information was blocked, which probably means that none was. In other words, everthing is working according to plan and one more excuse for not installing filtering software in every school, library and home has been debunked.

12/06/2002 - "Dot-Kids" Domain Signed Into Law

President Bush sent a clear message to pedophiles and pornographers on Wednesday by signing into law a bill that would establish a "dot-kids" domain on the Internet. This new domain would only allow family-friendly content and linking to other sites within the dot-kids hierarchy, thereby creating a separate and kid-safe network. With this distinct and policed domain schema, filtering software will be able to more effectively block smut from our nation's schools, libraries, and family rooms since any non-dot-kids address can be swiftly detected and neutralized before the offensive material is delivered. Once the majority of public Internet connections are thus filtered, businesses and online publishers will have no choice but to acquire a dot-kids domain in order to make their content accessible, thereby forcing them to clean up their acts in order to pass the required family-friendliness tests. Those few vulgar and obscene sites that refuse to change will be marginalized and accessable only to domestic perverts (who can be isolated and tracked by Homeland Security) and foreigners in disreputable countries like Holland or Canada.

05/01/2002 - More Evidence Against Wal-Mart

Not only is Wal-Mart targeting our youth with prurient and outright pornographic "reading" material, but they are also facilitating hackers by selling so-called "naked PCs" on their website. While this sounds like more computer pornography, naked PCs -- or computers of questionable legality sold without an installed and licensed operating system -- are actually more pernicious in that they are used by members of the Free Source cult to create hacking tools for disabling filtering software. Walmart.com even promotes the use of these hacking tools (popularly known as "Linix") in conjunction with the naked PCs they sell. Furthermore, when not being used for hacking, these naked PCs are used for running computer operating systems (such as the standard Microsoft Windows or alternate systems like Apple Macintosh) without paying for the proper licenses -- in other words, theft. Does this sound like a wholesome business to you?

04/05/2002 - Boycott Of Walmart.com

Citizens United for a Decent Internet (CUDI) joins with the American Decency Association (ADA) in calling for a boycott of Wal-Mart due to their brazen selling of soft-core pornography (which is just a gateway to hard-core pornography such as child porn and snuff films) in plain sight of minors. This pornography -- which includes the Sports Illustrated "Swimsuit" Edition and Cosmopolitan -- needs to be removed from the supposedly "family-friendly" store chain, and we feel that the threat of economic punishment in the form of a boycott will help Wal-Mart see the error of their ways. While the ADA is focusing on physical Wal-Mart stores, we at CUDI will be handling Wal-mart's online store, which not only lets creeps and pedophiles purchase a wider range of soft-core porn (and seemingly harmless magazines such as American Cheerleader which only fuel their perversion) in secrecy without having to face public disapproval, but also lets minors make purchases using a parent's credit card with no attempt at age verification.

Please do your part for decency by not doing business with Wal-mart, and make sure you write or let their employees know why it is you are boycotting them.

06/27/2001 - Hackers Try And Shutdown CUDI

Our website was attacked by malicious hackers--probably aligned with the Free Source cult--and was down for about a year. We are now back up and running on a new webhost, however our previous guestbook and forum were destroyed in the attack. That we are considered a target by the people trying to make the Internet safe for pedophiles and terrorists is powerful testimony that we are making an impact and motivates us to do even more to clean up the Internet.

Please excuse the disorder while we are restructuring our Internet presence. Thank you.
