If you didn’t get a chance to stop by the Quilt Show at the Flint Institute of Music (FIM), you missed a beautiful show. The room at the FIM building was a wonderful showcase for our quilts and novelty entries. Many thanks to Dayna Hughes who arranged for the use of the room at no cost to the guild.

We are so grateful for the volunteers who helped make the show a success, including: Mary Seymour, Linda VanBrocklin, Dayna Hughes and daughter Sara who made the storage bags for the quilt racks; Marlene Weston and family for making the programs; Melanie Hutchinson for making the beautiful ribbons for the Tabletopper Challenge and Viewer’s Choice winners; Mary Seymour, Melanie Hutchinson and Sharon Baxendale for making the needle cases that were given to viewers; and Suzie Berberich for providing some incentives for raffle ticket sales.
Our set up and take down crews were awesome! They made the task go smoothly and quickly.
