Assistance The state MMAP (Medicare Medicaid Assistance Program) website: www.medicare.gov or follow link at bottom of page. The Burnside Center has a Medicare Office to assist seniors with Medicare concerns. Call 517-278-0285 or 800-803-7174 for an appointment or to leave message The state MICAFE (Michigan's Coordinated Access to Food for the Elderly) website: www.MiCAFEonline.org or follow link at bottom of page or call 1-877-664-2233 to find a site near you. A senior who is age 60 or older on a limited income may be eligible for the Michigan Bridge Card. The Bridge Card is money to buy food. Benefits range from $10 - $140 a month. The average monthly benefit is $60 a month. Call the Burnside Center at 517-279-6565 to make an appointment with a MICAFE Counselor.
