  THIS IS THE OFFICAL PARENT ORGANIZATION OF HENRY FORD ACADEMY. Henry Ford Academy has an active parent organization which meets the third Tuesday of each month at 6:30pm in the Performance Room, Hamp (museum) Campus.

The objective of this organization is to support the Academy in ways that increase student achievement, support the Academy goals, improve the Academy's physical plant and support student activities through fundraising.

DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS (Last Updated 03/13/2008):

  • OAKWOOD BLVD ROAD CONSTRUCTION Starting March 17 through mid May, Oakwood Blvd. will be closed from Michigan Ave to Park Street (where Querfield Funeral Home is located). There will be complete reconstruction of the road. You should be able to access Park Street, however, alternate routes are recommended.


  • HFA Lunch Money Card Students may now load money onto their student ID to pay for lunch. For more information read the Money Card Letter from Mr. Enright.


  • HFA Student Email Addresses

    All students are given a Henry Ford Academy email address, which can be accessed through the Academy website. Faculty and staff email bulletins and announcements to students daily at their HFA email address. Make sure your student is checking their HFA mailbox. If they are unaware of this email address or have questions, have them contact Mr. Enright.


  • HFA 2007/2008 School Calendar, located to the left, is updated regulary. On some dates you will see more... You need to click on that link to see all the events for that day. Don't forget you can send yourself email reminders for specific events.

    FUNDRAISERS (Last Updated 01/25/2008):

  • Kroger, Target, Meijer and Gordon Food Service Fundraisers Please remember to participate in as many of these free, ongoing fundraisers as possible during the holiday season. If anyone needs a HFA Kroger Gift Card, please contact Mari Kisch. For information on all of the ongoing HFA fundraisers, visit the Fundraising page.


  • Cell Phone Fundraiser The Class of 2008 is holding a Cell Phone Fundraiser. To participate all you need to do is donate used cell phones. You may also donate laptops, MP3 players and digital cameras.

    Please turn in the used devices to the Class of 2008 officers or sponsors (Ms. Cherian, Ms. Felton and Ms. Marbury)

  • Henry Ford Academy is selling USB Flash Drives – The Drive has a storage space of 125MB which will replace 63 floppy disks. Students will be able to save their digital documents, power point presentations, pictures and all other digital PC/Mac files. The Drive is coated with an- anti destruction coating and has a locking cap that keeps the UBS port safe from dust and debris. The drive has been customized for the Academy with the Academy logo and website address. To purchase a drive please see Mr. Sutton or Ms. Carr the cost will be $12.00 and will include a key loop or lanyard.

The list is just getting started for the year, so if you don't see anyone from your area wishing to carpool when you sign up, check back in a couple days.
