2009 Spring Round-Up Ride Results

On Saturday, April 4, Horses for Hope held its annual Spring Round Up (Ride) at the Genesee County Fairgrounds in Mt. Morris, Michigan. Proceeds from the ride benefited Horses For Hope's Chemo Kid Day Program and other horse adventures for children with cancer and their families.
The weather was great for the first weekend of April in Michigan. Twenty-nine 'wranglers' joined us to choose what they hoped was the best 'herd'. The wranglers rode through the trail system to each of 10 stations and chose their herd based on their 'brand'. Wranglers rode for five outfits- 'The Flying W', 'The Double J', 'The Rocking R', 'The Lazy S', and 'The Bar Z'. The only thing missing this year was Greg's awesome 'Rocky Mountain Oyster Chili', and that should be back next year if we bug him enough. The ride was a wonderful success and we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who made this event possible! Thank you!!!
