2011 Spring Round-Up Ride Results

On Saturday, April 2, Horses for Hope held its annual Spring Round Up (Ride) at the Genesee County Fairgrounds in Mt. Morris, Michigan. Proceeds from the ride benefited Horses For Hope's Chemo Kid Day Program and other horse adventures for children with cancer and their families.
The weather was beautiful for the first weekend of April in Michigan-even with the snow that was still on the ground! Nineteen 'wranglers' joined us to choose what they hoped was the best 'herd'. The wranglers rode through the trail system to each of 10 stations and chose their herd based on their 'brand'. Wranglers rode for five outfits- 'The Flying W', 'The Double J', 'The Rocking R', 'The Lazy S', and 'The Bar Z'. The weather was perfect for Greg's awesome 'Rocky Mountain Oyster Chili'. We had 5 top notch wranglers who brought in great herds. We want to point out that the success of any ranch involves many wranglers and all of you did the Horses For Hope Ranch proud! The ride was a grand success!
