Autism Advocacy Information has facts, statistics, and tips for making sure your Michigan legislators understand the importance of getting the "autism insurance bill" passed this year. However, the tips for talking with and forming relationships with people who make our laws can be used with other issues that are important to people with disabilities and their families, and with local or even national leaders. Thanks to Carolyn G., who took the time to put this information together and allowed us to post it!

Citizen's Guide to State Government is published by the Michigan Legislature. It has information about how our state government works, contact information for Gov. Granholm, state Representative Dudley Spade and state Senator Cameron Brown, and tips for how to interact with legislators. This guide is published every year so the information is current!

The following are brochures that give information on the MI Developmental Disabilities Council and its workgroups, RICCs, etc.
