These notes of thanks extend to all of our beloved contributors:

Marian,

My name is Malissa Wood and I am the Director of Children's Services at Perspectives of Troy (a counseling agency in Michigan). I really felt I needed to tell your organization how blessed we feel to be on the receiving end of your beautiful blankets. As a counselor working with children, the blankets have come in handy when a child needs an object for protection and safety or when they are nervous about bedtime and the warm, fuzzy blanket helps them to feel secure and get over their fears. I work with over 30 therapists (over half who work with children) and we have had case consultation meeting centering on the use of the Linus Project blankets and the love that is put into them. So many of our therapists have come up the creative ways to use them in their sessions with children. We have even used the blankets theraputically with adolescents as well as adults. We look forward every month to our new shipment. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts and are so grateful to get to utilize these amazing blankets. Please never feel your work is unrecognized; we truly appreciate all you do.

Thank you,

Malissa Wood MA, LLP/LPC
Director of Children Services
Perspectives Counseling Centers

Marian --
I got the stuffies and the blankets today! Divine. Thank you SO MUCH for all you do! I just got a great donation of fabulous books and cute toothbrushes and teddy bears... so I am going to make some great bags tomorrow.
These will go to a school in Detroit that a friend of mine teaches kindergarten in. The kids are living below poverty level, and she has told me repeatedly how sad their stories are... so this time they will go to children with homes, but barely :(

Thank you for helping me help them!

Dear Mrs. Bart and Project Linus Members,

On behalf of the abused and neglected children in our foster care program, please accept my heartfelt gratitude for the donation of the beautiful and warm blankets.

The blankets were distributed to families who successfully regained custody of their children. The blankets meet real needs. These families need encouragement and support to remain healthy and the blankets provide a lasting and meaningful reminder that the community supports their rehabilitation.

In my heart, these blankets not only represent the care of the community, but warm the hearts of many children who need hope.

Thank you for all of your time and efforts to change lives and to bring what really matters: hope.

Dear Project Linus,

Thank you once again for the beautiful handmade quilts and blankets provided to Abigayle. Many of them have been added to layettes we give to mothers of new babies. They are so happy to receive these special gifts that you have worked so hard to make.

God Bless,

Karen Wexelberg
Executive Director
Abigayle Ministries

Dear Marian Bart and Project Linus,

Thank you for your dedication to God's little children. We have received 24 blankets, 4 afghans, and 1 quilt from your group. They are very nice and of generous size - pretty colors, too.

God bless you all.
