Loaves & Fishes Ministries is a non-profit 501(c)(3)Christian Ministry that depends on the generosity of churches, individuals and organization to donate money, goods and services.

Donations are tax deducitible if you itemize your federal tax return and the State of Michigan provides a special tax credit for homeless shelters. This deductions allows a 50% credit for individuals and couples. A maximum of $100 for a $200 financial gift for individuals and a maximum of $200 for a $400 financial gift for couples.

FINANCIAL PLANNING: To provide for the long-term operation and maintenance of our sheltering programs, we ask you to prayerfully consider Loaves & Fishes Ministries in your estate planning. Loaves & Fishes Ministries has established an permanent endowment fund with the Capital Region Community Foundation. Financial donations placed in this fund assures that the principle is not spent, whose principle exists in perpetuity and such a principle provides a future funding source that supports the programs and services for hungry and homeless people. Such donations qualify for a second category of Michigan tax credits. It is our intension to provide an on-going programs and services that enable people to break their cycle of homelessness and to begin life anew.
