Fundraisers

State funding for schools is so low, that fundraising is an absolute necessity! Fundraising dollars allow us to play an intregal role in supporting Central Elementary staff in the education of our children.
The money generated by these efforts pay for family activites such as the carnival, harvest breakfast, etc. PTO also supports Central El. in providing: transportation for grade-level field trips, assemblies for the students, Accelerated Reader quizzes, help to offset the cost of the 5th grade Sherman Lake Camp experience, support to Girls On The Run, in-school activities, essential materials needed in the classroom, assistance to Student Council to bring you movie nights, supplies for the Safety program, and so much more! YOU help to make this difference!
We have one major fundraiser at the beginning of each school year. This is where the majority of the money for the budget comes from. Smaller and ongoing fundraisers help to supplement the budget throughout the year. Your continued support is greatly appreciated!
