ABOUT OUR PROGRAM Halloween has always been our biggest fund raiser and is the basis for our Teen Club. This has been our most effective way of reaching teens and ensuring that they want to continue with our program because each year gets bigger and better. So please don't be frightened away by Our appearance. We are located in Macomb County,Michigan and are a non profit orginization. We have been working with teens and preteens in our local area about the last 9 yrs. They get to learn various skills and it helps keep them off the streets and out of trouble during Halloween time. We currently have about 70 teens and pre-teens working with us and hope to get some community assistance so that more kids will be able to join us and we can provide year round programs for our tweens and teens. Maybe eventually be able to have our own Teen Center. I am working real hard on making the City of Fraser a Community of Promise and join in our efforts in the Alliance for Youth. It is a Nationally Recognized Program known as Americas Promise. It is geared to create brighter futures for the youths of America. In joining with this organization we will be able to provide our teens and preteens with many more programs to ensure there futures. From Health, Marketable Skills, Social Skills and Life Skills. Now most importantly TEENSPIRITS suffered a Major set back in 2007 We Designed, and once again provided all scares, props,costumes and actors to Get A 5 STAR rating for Motor City Massacre. Unfortunately they thanked us by steeling all of our Costumes, Electrical equipment and props. Basically, making it almost impossible for us too Host a Haunted House in 2008! However a Dear Friend of mine Mac Kelly is pushing me not too give up. So were going to give it a shot and have some fundraisers.
So please check our Calendar of events for details but our first too kick off our efforts will be Sunday July 6th at Rotary Park in Roseville, Mi. on Utica and Eastland St. Between Common Rd. and 12 mile Rd. on Utica....This will be a Family Fun Day! From 1PM to 9PM With games, food and entertainment! Please come out and join us and meet Mac Kelly spinning the tunes AKA Wolfman Mac from NightMare Sinema!

PROMISE OUR MASCOTT
ATTENTION PLEASE I have a rather sad story but with a happy ending. We found a puppy in detroit that was probably used in Dog Fighting he had been severly chewed up and to top it off had been hit by a car and could not walk. No one wanted to treat this poor little stray for fear that no one would pay the bill. We kept searching and found a vet that was willing to treat him on a promise that we would raise the money to pay for his surgery. I told him that the dog is going to be our teenspirit mascott and he will be named PROMISE! He was treated at the PATTERSON VETERINARY HOSPITAL at 35115 Harper Ave. Clinton Twp. We want to send special thanks to The Fraser Lions Club they raised $118.00 for the puppy in the Beer Tent during the City PicNic and we earned $120 at our CarWash At the Fraser Storage Center.
Promise had his final pin removal surgery on Aug 19th and is walking on his leg and doing GREAT!!! The Vet said TEENSPIRITS did a great job of raising the funds needed to rehabilitate him along with all the donations given by caring people in our community. Thankyou
Unfortunately our Haunted Yard was unable to open in 2003 due to lack of communication with certain city officials and our hopes of being able to make this our first annual city event did not work. However it didn't get our Spirits down in 2004 we joined the Detroit Sportsman Congress they have been doing a Haunted Forest the past 18 years they invited TeenSpirits to join them in there Haunting. We had a blast and raised money for the Leader Dogs for the Blind. 2004 WERE BACK!!!. Halloween Productions has graciously invited us to join them in there HAUNTINGS at the HAUNTED FUNERAL HOME at 33000 Garfield in FRASER. Open every weekend, starting Sept. 30th. On October 27th 2003 TeenSpirits did our performance of the Thriller at the Lions Club annual Halloween Party please check out in the Community FreePress section in the October 30th 2003 issue.

Only problem was we were originally told we only had to perform a max of 20 min. but once we got there they wanted more!!!! LOL Well we did our best and had a great time. The kids did a great JOB!!! Although I think we might have been a little to scary for the audiences age group. SORRY!

Teens please let your parents know that they are welcome to come and join us at any of the events. Especially The Haunted Houses the more Adult supervision the better things run and they will have just as much fun spooking people as you do. Plus its kinda of a nice way to get to know each other a little better. Especially if they think your a monster. LOL
