Sponsors

The University of Michigan is currently seeking sponsors for the 2005-2007 "ChallengeX: Crossover to Sustainable Mobility" competition. This program is sponsored by the United States Department of Energy, General Motors, and other government and industry leaders. The three-year competition provides students with an opportunity to participate in hands-on research and development - focusing on leading-edge automotive propulsion, fuels, materials, and emissions-control technologies. The Michigan team will re-engineer a crossover sport utility vehicle (Chevrolet Equinox) to minimize energy consumption, emissions, and greenhouse gases while maintaining or exceeding the vehicle's utility and performance.

In order to successfully capitalize on these hands-on learning opportunities, the Michigan team needs your help. Sponsorship money will play a critical role in the success of the University of Michigan ChallengeX team. We hope that the following documents will provide the information necessary to convince you that investing time and money in this program is not only of value to our team, but to you as well. By forming a relationship with the University of Michigan ChallengeX team you will be forming relationships with some of the brightest and most motivated students at one of the top universities in the nation while exposing your name and products to thousands of young automotive enthusiasts.
