PTO School Carnival
We are having a spring carnival on Friday, May 17. We are seeking volunteers who would be interested in planning activities and working at the booths during the carnival. If you are interested and able to help, please contact Rachel Vanderwall at 616-452-6186 as soon as possible!

What is West Godwin PTO? We are a collaborative organization open to all parents, guardians, teachers, administrators, and interested community members. Our PTO is circle of adults who want the best education and finest opportunities for all children at West Godwin. Active PTOs contribute to a positive school climate and to student success! We are you, and we need you!

Monthly PTO Meetings
We meet in the PTO room at school on the second Monday or Tuesday (be sure to check the newsletter and bulletin board outside the room) of every month to plan events, vote on funding requests, and hear what our principal has to say. The next meeting is May 14, 2013 at 9 am.

WE NEED YOUR HELP!!!
We are still looking for volunteers; moms, dads, grandmas, grandpas, aunts, uncles!!!! Whoever wants to help out!!! Whether you have only a half an hour or 3 hours available every little bit helps!!! Please see the bulletin board outside our room to see where you can help!

Candy Grams
Give your special student a candy gram and support our school. They are for sale every day in the office for $1.00. They are delivered every Monday. We have something for everyone, so please check out our selection.

Popcorn Sale
The next popcorn sale is Friday May 17, 2013. Each bag sells for .25¢. Please send the money to school the morning of the sale. If you are able to donate some time that day please let us know. We'd be glad to have you! We start "popping" at 8am and usually work through the school day.

Boxtops for Education
We continue to collect boxtops each month from the classrooms, so keep them coming. We receive 10 cents per boxtop which greatly helps our students. If you have any questions please feel free to contact us anytime.
