W.I.H.S. P.T.S.A. Fundraising

With the purchase of every membership card bought to join our PTA/PTSA, a portion goes directly back to OUR PTSA. Membership forms available through the link at the bottom of this page (you must print it yourself and bring with payment) or through PTSA office/officers. Call Shaton Berry (313-218-9801) or Celeste Hernandez (313-843-8868) for further assistance. You may also purchase a card at our PTSA monthly meetings, held every second Wednesday of the month.

With each purchase made with your GFS (Gordon Food Service) card, the corporation donates funds back to our school. Your card will arrive in the mail. Forms available through the office or at our monthly parent meeting. If more information needed, call Shaton Berry, PTSA President at (313) 218-9801.

CURRENT PTSA COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

FOR HOMELESS YOUTH

Our PTSA is currently collecting NEW, UNUSED hats, gloves, socks and assorted toiletries (toothpaste, toothbrush, shampoo, bar soap, etc...), NOW 'til Dec. 19th, for donation to homeless youth. Please leave donations in the Toys For Tots collection bins located on the 3rd floor and at the Main Office. For CASH donations, contact PTSA officers Shaton Berry (313) 218-9801 or Celeste Hernandez (313) 843-8868 (pls leave a message). You may also choose to bring your donations along with you to our next monthly parent meeting (Dec. 12, 2007). ALL CASH DONATIONS collected for this cause will be used to purchase more items for donation. Student, parent, staff, community participation appreciated.

AMERICAN RED CROSS BLANKET DAYS
Nov. 16 until Dec. 21, 2007 (last day of school before Holiday Break).

PTSA is currently collecting NEW, UNUSED, TWIN-SIZED blankets. Donations will be delivered to the American Red Cross to distribute to the needy. ACCEPTABLE DONATIONS: Blanket(s) and Cash (to purchase MORE blankets for donation). Student, parent, staff and community participation appreciated! Our PTSA is proud to be a part of the Toys For Tots program this holiday season! NEW, UNWRAPPED TOYS are now being collected in the Toys For Tots bins, one located on the 3rd floor (for the Ambassador Academy) and another at the Main Office. Toys will be picked up by representatives of the program. You may also choose to bring your donations with you to our next parent meeting (Dec.12).
