Red Hatters Just Wanna Have Fun

1.) May Event Hosted by Dottie and Elaine E. Red Hatter’s May Event Thursday, May 18, 2006 5:30 p.m. Anything Indoors/Anything Outdoors (gift shop and landscaping) 19693 State Hwy 23, Richmond and The Great Blue Heron Restaurant (Hwy 23, Cold Spring) Directions to Anything Indoors/Outdoors: Take Hwy 23 west through Cold Spring towards Richmond. It is a log-style building located on the left-hand side before the City of Richmond. Gift Shop Home décor, candles, prints, floral arrangements, pottery, jewelry, etc. (no antiques) Landscape Shop Landscape displays both indoors and outdoors. Anything Indoors/Outdoors will be extending their hours for our group; if 15 or more members attend, they will give us a 10% discount on items purchased that evening. Dinner will follow at approx. 6:30 p.m. at the Blue Heron Restaurant, where you can order off their menu. Please RSVP to Dottie or Elaine. Thank you!

2.) June Event - Hosted by Doris R., Sharon S., Carol S. and Marilyn H. Evening at Assumption Nursing Home in Cold Spring, Minnesota, on June 22. We need YOU!!! Be there by 6:15 p.m. and we will set up and be ready to go by 6:30. We will play bingo, have a sing-a-long, and then serve ice cream and cookies. After finishing, we will go to the Blue Heron in Cold Spring for dinner. It is Pasta Night, however, you can order whatever you prefer off the menu. RSVP TO Doris R. or Sharon Stl. per your directory information.

3.) July Event - Hosted by Joanne M., Val L. and Jan J. A Silent Auction will be held on Tuesday the 25th. It will be at the American Legion on Main Street in Cold Spring. We don't have all the details yet, but are planning on a silent auction (if each person can bring an item, it would be great). The hours will be from 6:30 to 8:30 or 9:00 PM. We will be serving ice cream and cake. All proceeds from the auction will go to the Anna Marie shelter. More details to follow.

4.)NOTE-DATE CHANGE--August Event Hosted by Jane T., Rose S. Creative Memories Workshop and Scrapbooking at John Paul Apartment Hall in Lower Level (Door C). Hot dogs, chips and beans will be served with ice tea and Lemonade. No Charge for meal or scrapbooking night. Hope to see you there. Meal at 6p.m. and scrapbooking begins at 6:30. Lois R. will be our CM Instructor.

5.) October...Shopping Extravanganza at Bella's in Sartell. Dinner to follow at the Blue Line Sports Bar and Grill.

6.) November 21...hosted by Elaine and Dottie E. and Joan B. Dinner at the El Paso then off to sing Christmas Carols at Arlington Place in St. Joseph. Bingo will also be enjoyed by the residents as well as beverages and dessert being served before we go home. More definite details to follow in your invitation via email in a few weeks prior to event.

7.) December 6, 2006...SPA NIGHT...hosted by your Queen of the Nile--Tentatively at Queen Gloria's home. Come get pampered before the rush of the holidays is upon us all. Enjoy a glass of wine plus have some coffee and dessert. Additionally, you will have an opportunity to purchase spa products for yourself and as Christmas gifts should you wish to do so. Most items can be brought home the evening of this event. Get Ready to Enjoy some Relaxation while having fun with your Red Hat Sisters

JANUARY AND HAPPY NEW YEAR...Movie and Burger Night. We'll see what is playing at the Parkwood 18 during January and go from there. We will most likely take in a "Before 6 p.m." movie and go to Park Diner after the movie for a bite to eat. More details in January.

FEBRUARY...Rosie Waltzing will be hosting the month of February in her home. More details in February
