WELCOME TO THE ST. JOSEPH CLEO-HATTRAS WEB PAGE
Hello, and welcome to our Web Site. My name is Gloria Lenzen, and I am the "Queen of the Nile" of the Red Hat Cleo-Hattras of St. Jospeh Minnesota.
I started our chapter 4 years ago, and we currently have 25 members in our chapter. We gather for a fun activity or outing once per month. One or more of our members coordinate each monthly activity. Some of the things we have done include a High Tea with garden tours, pontoon ride on the lake, tour of local gardens, hay rides, corn maze, outdoor camp cookout, a dessert night, attendance at plays, movies, and much, much, more. Our members take turns planning each of these monthly events. I have highlighted a very few of them below.

Cleo-Hattras Welcome Juanita From Richmond, Virginia
Thursday, October 12, 2006, was a windy, cold night in Minnesota. But, that didn't bother the St. Joseph Red Hat Cleo-Hattras. We ventured out in the brisk night to enjoy an hour of shopping at BELLA'S in Sartell. While we shopped, we enjoyed coffee, wine, and assorted chocoloate bars. While the chocolate was awesome...the shopping was even better!!! The shop gets a "10" rating from all of us.
Additionally, shop owners provided a relaxing "hand massage" to those of us that could be pulled away from our shopping extravaganza.
After shopping, we headed for the Blue Line Sports Bar and Grill for a delicious meal, lots of chatter and lots of laughs.
The highlight of our evening was our guest from Richmond, Virginia, Juanita A.
Juanita was visiting her daughter who attends the College of St. Benedict in St. Joseph. We truly enjoyed her company and what a lovely, sweet Red Hat Sister she is!Many Thanks to our two hostesses for the evening, Lynn S. and Marlene W. You two receive a 5-Star Red Hat Hug from all of us.
Juanita has now arrived safely home in Richmond and has already contacted Queen Gloria with many Red Hat warm expressions of gratitude for being able to spend the night with us. Of course who wouldn't like the Cleo-Hattras, we are a great fun-loving group!!!!

Enjoying Dinner
After having dinner at Baker's Square, the Cleo-Hattras headed over to Rosie's house to play "Polish Poker." Well, Rosie has been playing this card game for years and she was anxious to get us all seated so she could instruct us on the rules of the game. This was a really difficult task! We were all oohing and aweing at her beautiful Doll Collection. But once our curiosity was satisfied, and Rosie's daughter, Mary got us all situated with a glass of wine, we were fired up!!!!

Now by looking at the photos below, you can tell by the looks on our faces just how well this card game was going. After all, we were playing for BIG, BIG, STAKES!!!! NICKELS!!!!! Speaking for myself, I never won a game, and I went home losing well under a $1.50. We had a blast, and thank Rosie and Mary for hosting our March Red Hat Event.

JUNE EVENT IS A "GHOSTLY EXPERIENCE"
Our June 2007 event took us to Sauk Centre, Minnesota. We enjoyed dinner at one of the oldest and "ghostliest" hotels in the area. The food was "Delicious." The dessert was even more so. After dinner, we were told the history of the hotel and the "spotting" of some eerie sights. We then walked the few blocks to enjoy a most lovely concert in the park. The atmosphere could not have been more beautiful seeing we were next to a lake. We had a lovely time and wish to thank our hostesses, Sharon and Doris. Of course as we were sitting back and relaxing on this beautiful evening, we found out when we returned home, it wasn't so beautiful as a pretty severe storm had passed through. By the way...did anyone else see that little boy on the steps that tripped me!!!!????
