Welcome to Crew 406 !
Venture Crew 406 is a Boy Scouts of America organization based in Coon Rapids, Minnesota. Chartered by System Specialists.
2004...What a year! We started our year out with a winter camping trip to Okpik High Adventure Base in Ely, MN and the 2nd Annual Okpik Open Winter Golf Tournament. We made it back to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area later in the year with a summer canoe and fishing trip. Other adventures that we added to our list were bowling, softball, Valley Fair, REI Rock Wall climbing, a north shore trip that took in four different Minnesota State Parks, and a night of laser tag, just to name a few.
2005 is starting out right where 2004 left off. Congratulations are in order for two of our Crew members. Both Mrs. Rocheleau one of our Advisors and Jay - one of our youth members were award winners in this years Viking Council Venture Awards Ceremony. One other award that must be made note of, was awarded to our own Mr. Caldwell. He was the recipient of the coveted and well deserved Silver Beaver Award. Way to go Crew!!!

Our last meeting, at Classic Bowl was awesome! We had a great time bowling and meeting some new friends. Congratulations go out to Doug for his two outstanding games and winning the free bowling passes.
Weather permitting, this Thursdays meeting is at Crooked Lake Park for Pizza, Pop, and Softball. Bring your gloves, bats, and appetites! Oh ya and bring someone that you think might enjoy having some fun with the Crew. Watch this page for future updates on events that we have coming up to get us ready for our trip to Colorado.
