Bethany Locklear

Bethany has been a member of the DHS Dance team for 3 years and of the Track team for 5 years. She is part of the Student council, National Honor Society and the LINK Program. She was also a part of the Chinese student exchange program.
Her short term goals include graduation from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill with a major in Business. She would also like to travel to abroad. Bethany's long term goals include marriage and family along with obtaining a doctorate degree in business.
Bethany's belief for Miss Delano is that she should be a quality leader, a respectable young woman and a role model for the people in this community. She should be able to represent Delano with the class and poise that it deserves as well as share its motto of "the spirit of community" to its surrounding towns.

Erin Nolan

Erin has been a member of the DHS volleyball team and softball team. She has also been part of the DHS student council, LINK, SHARP, the Prom committee and destination imagination.
Her short term goals include completing her under-graduate studies at the University of St. Thomas with a major in psychology and possibly minoring in social work. She would like to study abroad and also pursue her doctorate degree in counseling or therapy. Erin's long term goals include getting married and having a family along with setting up her own private practice that centers on women and children. She would really like to make a difference in someone’s life. Her secret ambition is to be a member of the "Jeopardy Clue Crew"
Erin believes Miss Delano should be compassionate, trustworthy, and intelligent. She should also show initiative, honesty and loyalty. It is her belief that Miss Delano should possess an open mind and heart and have a sense of humor. She is very passionate about the acceptance of others and living life to the fullest.

Kami Oberaigner
Kami has been part of the DHS Cross Country team, Track team and Prom committee. She has also been part of LINK and the National Honor Society.
Kami's short term goal include attending the University of Minnesota - Duluth to begin her education to become a Pediatrician, then she will continue to the U of M medical school to finish her dream.
Her long term goals include starting a career as a pediatrician, getting married and having children.
Kami believes Miss Delano should posses self-confidence, leadership, an outgoing personality, an open mind, a willingness to help others in and around the community and the desire to learn or do new things.

Amber Shoutz
Amber has been involved in the DHS soccer program, the track team, and the LINK program. Amber also teaches Sunday school to the 2 and 3 year olds at her church.
Amber's short term goals include attending Winona State University to pursue a double major in education and Spanish. She would like to study in Spain and also hopes ot play on the women's soccer team there.
Amber's long term goals include teaching at an elementary school in Spain and do more traveling abroad. She would also like to marry and have children.
Amber believes that to be Miss Delano, a young woman needs to be honest, dedicated and out-going in order to represent the community. She also believes it is important to be a community volunteer.

Devin Weinzierl
Devin has been a part of the DHS choir, SHARP program and a LINK Leader. She has also been part or the Star Seekers Production Dance studio for 13 years and has been captain for 2 years and has taught for the past year.
Devin will be attending North Dakota St University in the fall, majoring in Dietetics and also taking classes in business management. She would like to study abroad during this time.
After college, Devin would like to work as an outpatient dietitian and to eventually open a restaurant that caters to the nutritional well-being of its customers. She would also like to get married and have a family.
Devin believes Miss Delano should be a confident and outgoing individual and should be the genuine image of the entire community of Delano. She loves to visit new places and meet new people, but no matter where she goes, she will still remember that Delano is home and she is very proud of that.
