Welcome to Family of Christ MOPS
Join us the 2nd Friday of the month to celebrates Adventures In Mothering!
MOPS is…
- a morning of rest, instruction, support, and affimations for mothers of preschoolers.
- a place for women to make new friends, share experiences, laugh together, and express creativity through crafts.
- a place to learn biblical principles pertaining to being a woman, a wife, and a mother.
MOPS is designed to meet the special needs of mothers with young children (newborn through kindergarten). While all mothers have similar needs, the needs experienced by mothers of preschoolers are unique and deserve attention.
Our MOPS topics range in diversity, but generally pertain in some way to marriage, parenting, women, or family relationships. Our MOPS moms are from many different backgrounds and from all different denominations.
Time: 10:00am - noon with MOPPETS check-in starting at 9:30am
Location: Family of Christ Lutheran Church, 16345 Polk St NE, Ham Lake, MN 55304
The Cost is $70 per year - Your first meeting is free!
Typical MOPS Meeting Agenda
9:30 a.m. - MOPPETS check-in
10:00 a.m. - Prayer and Refreshments
10:15 a.m. - Announcements and Give Aways
10:30 a.m. - Creative activity or Speaker
11:15 a.m. - Discussion groups
12:00 - Meeting adjourned, pick up children from MOPPETS
This Years Meeting Dates, Themes and Crafts are:
The MOPPETS ministry is an opportunity for children to socialize and interact with children their same age in a safe, loving environment. While moms are at MOPS, children are cared for in age-appropriate classes. Children will enjoy stories, games, crafts, and songs. Volunteers help shape the children's future with Christian love.
Our childcare volunteers have agreed to help with the MOPPETS program because they love children and are excited about the opportunity to serve mothers and their children. Please go out of your way to thank them!

Our goal for discussion groups is to help moms develop new friendships; share experiences, joys, and concerns about being a mom, woman, and wife; give support to each other in times of need; and to encourage social interaction with your groups inside and outside of MOPS. We hope you have a wonderful year in MOPS, and if you should have any questions, concerns or comments, please share them with your discussion group leader.
