We are thankful to all who helped make it a success.
The Girls made edible bird nests from rice crispie treats, with green colored flake coconut and skittles for eggs.
They made origami swans, trumpets from paper towel rolls and did word seeks and coloring pages.
At the end of the event, they gathered in a friendship circle and sang songs.

Hoghead Festival Parade
On Saturday August 16, 2008,Donna C. and Kaitlyn C.
from Troop 12962, participated in the Hoghead Festival Parade
in Proctor MN. The Festival celebrates the heritage of the town that was and still is a railroad town.
The Hoghead represents the old steam locomotives whose front ends resemble a pig snout.
The Scouts met up with Scouts from the Lakes and Pines Council from the Duluth area.
They quickly became friends and were invited to join their sister Scouts on their float.
