Newport, Minnesota, is located just minutes south of St. Paul. We protect a population of 3,715 over 3.9 square miles. We have two separate fire halls. Hall #1, our main hall, is located just west of Highway 61 on 20th Street. Hall #2 is located just east of Highway 61 on Glen Road.

We hold fire drills every Tuesday night, with the first Tuesday of every month being our monthly business meeting. When needed, we also help out our neighboring Fire Departments, by performing Mutual Aid for them.
We were founded in 1953 and have been protecting the City of Newport for over 53 years!
We are also the Charter Sponsor of the Boy Scouts of America, Troop #15.
Every holiday season we hold our annual Toy Drive.

Most importantly, we fight fires and help the citizens of our great city of Newport, in their time of need.
