2. Merit Badges -
   
   • Merit Badges started during September 26th's Troop meeting. Art (Mrs. Coder), Law (Mrs. Konowalski), Architecture (Mrs. Kronstad), Pets (Mrs. Britz).


3. Volunteer Opportunities -
   • Eagle Projects & Service Hours:
     • CrossPoint Church also has opportunities for Eagle Projects. Any Scout looking for information can call Pastor Dave.
   
   
4. Camping -
   • Webelos invite campout will be October 28-30. We need as many Scouts as possible to help out. Details will follow.

6. Fund Raising:
   • Popcorn and Wreath sales will begin in September 2011.
   • Troop Fundraiser - we have secured 100 tickets (50 adult and 50 child/senior) for the Lions Pancake Breakfast (all you can eat) on October 30th. The tickets are $7.00 for adults, and $5.00 for children aged 5-12 and seniors aged 62 and up (children 4 and under are free). Troop 406 will receive 50% profit from each ticket sold, which would be $300.00 when all tickets are sold. Since selling the tickets is during popcorn and wreath sales, a quorum of committee members and parents in attendance at Monday's meeting voted for the adults to sell the tickets with profits going to the troop. Tickets will be ready to sell at the next meeting. We do not have to work the event, we are selling the tickets only. For more information, please contact Luann.
   
   
   • Misc. Activities:
     • Knotmaster has begun!!! Brush up on your knots to earn your first Knot. If you have any questions, please see Larsen.
     • Sam Rugroden's Eagle project is set for November 5th at 9:00 am at CrossPoint Church. He is looking for 10 adult drivers and approximately 15 - 20 Scouts/volunteers to help out. Troop members, please bring in food and toiletries for the next 3 meetings. A note from your SPL—We will be collecting pasta items the first week of the competition for the patrols. This will be collected at the next meeting for the church’s food shelf.
