JOIN US FOR WORSHIP
Join us for Worship every Sunday morning beginning at 10:30. Sunday School begins at 9:30 AM, preceded by Pastries and Coffee at 9:00. An elevator makes our sanctuary handicap accessible. A cry room is available for young children.MISSION STATEMENT We believe we have been called by God, and directed by the Holy Spirit, to proclaim the Gospel of Christ in our church family, the community at large and around the world. We endeavor to be the family of God, together in joyful, Christ-centered worship. While nurturing our faith together through fellowship and study, we pray we are leading men, women and children to a saving faith in Jesus, and embracing a greater understanding with peace and justice for all.
The Presbyterian Women held their first meeting of the new year on September 4th. They began the Horizon Bible Study entitled JOSHUA, A Journey of Faith. PW has chosen the 50 Dental Packs as a project for the Festival of Sharing in October.
The boys and girls who make up the Youth Choir will begin their practicing each Wednesday after school. The group will then have a special song for the congregation the second Sunday of each month. Rob Sheek is the Youth Choir Director.
The First Presbyterian Church celebrated their 150th year in Clinton on Evangelism Sunday, September 28th. For more information about this celebration, click on The History of the Church link.
The Working Women's Bible Study meets the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month. Dinner begins at 5:45 and is provided by Bible Study members. Bible Study follows and is usually finished around 7:15. We are currently studying "Having a Mary Heart in a Martha World".
