MISSION STATEMENT We believe we have been called by God, and directed by the Holy Spirit, to proclaim the Gospel of Christ in our church family, the community at large and around the world. We endeavor to be the family of God, together in joyful, Christ-centered worship. While nurturing our faith together through fellowship and study, we pray we are leading men, women and children to a saving faith in Jesus, and embracing a greater understanding with peace and justice for all.

CURRENTLY HAPPENING:

The Samaritan Center needs tuna to go with Tuna Helper! Through the month of February, tuna of all kinds will be collected to help with this community need.

Members are sponsoring the Little Dresses for Africa sewing project to provide sundresses for young girls living in Central Africa. Please check display in lobby for further information.

The Ash Wednesday service will be at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, February 22nd. Everyone is invited to participate and receive the ashes on their forehead or their hand.

PW MONTHLY MEETING

The Presbyterian Women meet on the first Friday of each month at 1:30 PM. They began the Horizon Bible Study of the Book of Revelations.

The Men's Fellowship Group meets the first Wednesday of the month at 9:30 AM in the Fellowship Hall.

The Bible Bunch will read and discuss scripture passages each week starting February 13th at 2:00 PM in the Parlor. The first four passages to discuss will be 2 Kings 2:1-12; Psalm 50:1-6; 2 Corinthians 4:3-6 and Mark 9:2-9.

February 2012

The Working Women's Fellowship Group will begin meeting the third Thursday of each month at 5:30 PM in the Fellowship Hall. The first meeting will be February 16th.

150th ANNIVERSARY
