Women's Ministry - of Lynwood Baptist Church, Missouri

What has the Women's Ministry at Lynwood Baptist Church done to enrich our lives? For a number of years now, we and our female family, friends and acquaintances have gone on a weekend retreat to YMCA of the Ozarks (slideshow below). The focus for us each time has been about how God can work in our lives as long as we take time to refresh ourselves and get into His word. Women always look forward to this annual event. Price includes room, meals, snacks, music, fun activities, study focus groups, and quiet time for you and God.

For a change of pace, plans are underway for this year's retreat to Jonathan Creek in Aurora, Kentucky. We've provided a link in the column to the left for you to click on that will take you to their website to check out the amenities you will find when you join us at this beautiful location. We'll update this information once details are completely worked out, but start budgeting and inviting your lady friends to participate NOW!!! MEMORIAL DAY TREATS FOR TRAVELERS - - The Lynwood Women's Ministry sponsored an outreach to Memorial Day travelers by giving away cups of coffee, lemonade, water and cookies at the I-55 southbound rest stop on Friday, May 23rd from 2 until 8 pm.

A huge round of gratitude goes out to everyone who helped with this first time endeavor. For those who generously baked cookies for the travelers - please know that they were so appreciated by everyone who stopped.

What are "Splash Events"??? - other opportunities ongoing through the spring and summer for women to meet new friends and connect. In the past they have included movie nights, coffee chats, game nights, and a luau.
