MEMORIAL DAY TREATS FOR TRAVELERS

The Lynwood Women's Ministry is sponsoring this outreach to Memorial Day travelers by giving away cups of coffee and cookies at the I-55 rest stops located near Fruitland at mile marker 110 on May 23rd, from 2 until 8 pm. This is a developing project, so stay tuned to this website for more info as it becomes available. Everyone is invited to participate. You will be amazed at how this outreach will touch your heart.

What are "Splash Events"??? - other opportunities ongoing through the spring and summer for women to meet new friends and connect. In the past they have included movie nights, coffee chats, game nights, and a luau. PLAN NOW TO ATTEND A BETH MOORE LIVING PROOF LIVE SIMULCAST - AUGUST 1st & 2nd

They Lynwood Women's Ministry will present a live simulcasting via satellite of Beth Moore's Living Proof Conference that is already sold out in Louisville, KY. The simulcast will be here at the church on Friday evening, August 1 beginning at 5:30 pm and continuing Saturday morning at 8:30 am until noon. The cost for this conference is $30 and that includes conference materials and refreshments. Bring your friends and we’ll see you at the Living Proof Live Simulcast — a fun-filled Bible study, teaching, and worship experience to enrich your mind, soul, and spirit!

WEEKEND RETREATS FOR ENRICHMENT

What has the Women's Ministry at Lynwood Baptist Church done to enrich our lives? For a number of years now, we and our female family, friends and acquaintances have gone on a weekend retreat to YMCA of the Ozarks (slideshow below). The focus for us each time has been about how God can work in our lives as long as we take time to refresh ourselves and get into His word. Women always look forward to this annual event. Price includes room, meals, snacks, music, fun activities, study focus groups, and quiet time for you and God.
