Lynwood women and friends relaxed in the shade, the pool and even indoors for a short time enjoying "Christian Hospitality" Hawaiian style! MEMORIAL DAY TREATS FOR TRAVELERS - VERY SUCCESSFUL

The Lynwood Women's Ministry sponsored an outreach to Memorial Day travelers May 22nd, by giving away cups of coffee, lemonade, water and cookies at the I-55 northbound and southbound rest stops of the interstate. They reported great visits with travelers and the ability to share that God loves them while ministering to their tiredness. Thank you to all who helped make this another success and to God be the glory for giving us this opportunity and outreach.

Can you keep a secret? Secret Sisters are everywhere!

This is an invitation for you to join a secret group of women who operate clandestinely through the year to make a difference in the life of someone else. This group doesn't meet weekly or monthly. It doesn't charge dues. It doesn't really take that much time or effort, but it does take commitment. It does require prayer and encouragement. It's the Secret Sister ministry group of Lynwood. Please pray about your acceptance of this limited-time invitation. The life you change may be your own! Enrollment cards available on the Women's Ministry board; please leave at the Welcome Center.

This is a simple ministry designed to uplift each other in prayer throughout the year and to secretly encourage your "sister" through your own thoughtful and creative ideas. All women are invited to participate!

Would you like to have a short cut to this website on your desk top?

Click in the address bar above. (That's where it says http://www.orgsites etc.) When you click there it should be highlighted blue.

On your keyboard press the Ctrl key and at the same time, press the letter C on your keyboard to copy this web address.

Close the website by clicking the red boxed X in the upper right corner of the page.

Right click with your mouse anyplace on your desk top, preferably where you would like the new shortcut to be.

In the box that appears, click on NEW.

Then click on SHORTCUT.

In the empty bar that appears, paste the web address you previously copied by pressing the Ctrl key and the letter V on your keyboard at the same time. Your web address should appear in the bar.

Click on NEXT.

Type the name you want your shortcut to be. I typed WomensMinistry.

Click on FINISH. Your shortcut should now be on your desktop.

This can be used to put any website shortcuts on your desktop. That's helpful when you have other websites that you go to frequently. Rather than wait for your Internet browser to load up and then type or search for a site, it's all ready for you at the click of your mouse on your desk top. If your shortcut is not on your desktop where you would like it to be, you can left click and hold the shortcut, then drag your mouse and it will move to where ever you drag it to. Let go of your mouse, and the icon will stay put - unless you have auto arrange turned on at your computer.
