 TESTIMONIALS FROM PAST “MACH” RIDES
 Candy & Charlie
2008…We had a great time in spite of being bike less, the weather and bronchitis. Roger and Marlene, thank you for your tireless efforts of putting this on. Sign us up for next year we are already looking forward to it. by Candy and Charlie Brown
 Jeannie
2008 - Thanks for your call, Roger. You have no idea how difficult it was for me
not being there. You always organize such a great weekend for all. I wanted to and hopefully next year will find it easier to attend…You all take care. Hugs – Jeannie
 Art
2007 - Wow...appropriately named. This trip was hopping all the way from start to
finish. Thank you Roger and Marlene for your efforts. Great weekend. I
enjoyed meeting and re-meeting WOTI and non-WOTI members, especially the MO
contingent. Lots of great folks… - by Art Hazel
 Sherry & Bruce
2008 - It was an awesome trip...even if we did have rain. We totally enjoyed it!
Can't wait to do it again. By Sherry (& Bruce)
 Dave
2007 - Had a great time. Roger and Marlene out did themselves. Everything was
perfect, and we all got too much to eat. – by Dave Cobb
 Lee
2008 - It was nice to see a lot of my old friends down there. I got to meet a
couple of folks I had always wanted to meet. The crawfish were delicious
(I still didn't get enough! ) Marlene, you are precious! Thank you!
Charlie Brown, thank you so much for driving the delivery vehicle in that
nasty weather. It did my old heart good to see you and Candy. Same for
Gordy, one of my Canadian brothers. I got to meet Woodie finally! It was
great to see a lot of old friends…Jeannie, you should have been there girl!
Thank you Roger for a job well done. Anyone of you who hasn't made this
gathering, you owe it to yourself to do so…Roger puts on a great
event. by Lee Barnett
 Gordo
2008 - Roger and Marlene, thanks so much for putting this together and please put
me on the list for next year. Now that I have had a taste of crawfish, I'll
wanna be there next year for more.
To those folks that were there, thanks for making the weekend special, and
it was good to renew acquaintances and also to meet new "family". The
rides were great, the food excellent, and the friendships priceless. by Gordo Claridge, Ontario
 Charlotte & Wiliferd
2008 - Roger and Marlene: It was great! Thanks for a great experience with many great friends. Put us down for next year. – by Wiliferd and Charlotte Lair
 Skippy
2008 - Just wanted to let folks know I returned safely from another fine
crawfish hunt…Nice riding around on Saturday, even if it was a little
damp and gloomy. Was able to find a few more pounds of crawfish for
dinner Saturday evening. Carryout crawfish dining back at the hotel
with good friends. Hard to beat. – by Skippy
2007 - Again, wow! Another great crawfish hunt with good friends! What can be
better than meeting with good friends, eating good food (crawfish!), and
goin' for a good ride. Good to see the safe return reports. I made it
back to South Carolina about 9:30 p.m. Eastern. No problems. Followed
Roger and Marlene and crew north for a ways before heading east. Sure
wish I could have found a crawfish omelet for breakfast though. Maybe next year. Ya'll take care. See ya next time. – by Skippy
 Bobbye
2007 - Oh my, what a GREAT time. Big round of applause to Roger and Marlene. Still
waddling from the amount of food eaten. Sure was awesomely wonderful to see
everyone and to be able to RIDE to the event. - by Bobbye in Arkansas
 Woodie & Gloria
2008 - Roger and Marlene, though I only participated in a small part of the weekend it was a great. Looking at the Saturday pictures I can see I missed a great ride. I am already looking forward to next year, taxes over, Gloria and I can both ride. Thanks, you both are wonderful. - by Woodie
2007 - Roger and Marlene thanks for a great time. We talked about the weekend all
the way home. The great people we met, seeing old friends, and eating
crawdads made the long trip something to remember. The trip coming and going was a
little over 1800 miles, not counting our Saturday ride led by Roger and
Marlene. We were really tired when we rolled in this evening (Monday), but
the long ride was well worth it and we hope to do it again next year. – by Woodie and Gloria
 Barry & Terri
2008 - Roger, you and that sweet lady, Marlene, cannot get enough kudos for
putting together such a fun time. The weather, as others have said,
was not perfect, , , but we all had a good time and got our little chins
real greasy eating many, many pounds of crawfish.
Toney's was a real good new place to eat. I will not say replacement for
the Lucky Fisherman cause I don't think that place can be
replaced, but Toney's is running it a foot race for good crawfish!!...we cannot thank you enough for all that you do, but THANKS… from the bottom of our hearts for the again wonderful MACH. by Barry & Terri Higginbotham
 Norm
2007 - I want to add my thanks for a great time to Roger and Marlene. It was a
great weekend. I put about 1750 miles on. When I figured out that I
couldn't do the primary thing I wanted to do in New Orleans, I headed
north. I did a 750 mile, two gas stop run straight through to Illinois and
attended our GWRRA chapter meeting. Even won two of the door prizes. Good
end to a fantastic weekend. – by Norm - N9ZKS - Central Illinois
 Jack & Tezz
2007 - Me and Tezz want to pass along our "thanks" to Roger and Marlene as
well for their work in putting this together year after year. We had
a great time. What a great ride meal on Friday night (as usual) and then all the BS
back at the motel as we talked about pretty much anyone that wasn't
there. If anyone's ears were burning, now you know why. Saturday's
tour of the historic house and then the ride on some great roads that
Roger had found were just outstanding. Great time was had by all ..... if
you missed it, do try to make it in future years. It is a great time. – by Jacko & Tezz
