BASKET: Ch 4. 1st rnd: 7 dc in 4th ch from hook. Join with ss to top of ch 3. 8 dc. 2nd rnd: Ch 3. 1 dc in same sp as last ss. (Ch 1. 2 dc in next dc) 7 times. Ch 1. Join with ss to top of ch 3. 24 sts. 3rd rnd: Ch 3. *2 dc in next dc. 1 dc in next ch 1 sp. 2 dc in next dc. 1 dc in next dc. 2 dc in next ch 1 sp.** 1 dc in next dc. Rep from * twice more, then from * to ** once. Join with ss to top of ch 3. 36 sts. 4th rnd: Ch 3. *2 dc in next dc. 1 dc in each of next 2 dc. Rep from * around to last 2 dc. 2 dc in next dc. 1 dc in last dc. Join with ss to top of ch 3. 48 sts. 5th rnd: Ch 3. 1 dc in back loop of each dc around. Join with ss to top of ch 3. 6th rnd: Ch 2. *1 dc in sp between next 2 dc. Rep from * around. Join with ss to top of ch 2. Rep last rnd 3 times more. Fasten off.
