SONlight Life Group Bible Study meets Sundays, @ 9 am, Rm. 207 See Calendar Link above for online version of Class handout. There is a lot going on in the SONlight Life Group. Worship Service: Life Group Bible Study: Sundays @ 8 am, 9 am, and 10:30 am Fellowship Dinners: Wednesday, Prayer Meetings: Wednesday, Celebrate Recovery: Tuesday, 5-9 pm Celebrate Kids: Tuesday, 5-9 pm

SONlight Chili/Soup/Sandwich Dinner -

SONlight Shining Light Wrap Party - The class got together at the home of the Burgess's to wrap the gifts for the children at the Shining Light Ministry in Charleston, Missouri. Be sure and check out the link to Shining Light on the homepage to see pictures of the children and their program.

SONlight Ladies' SPA Day is a Great Day !
The ladies of the SONlight class were invited to the home of Diane Bright on April 19th to participate in a SPA day. Marilyn Morgan shared recipes and ingredients so that each of the 10 ladies in attendance were able make their own body butter, bath salts, buttermilk bath powder, and sugar scrub to take home and use.
We send out a huge thank you to Diane, Loretta and Marilyn for their generous and creative support of this class ministry.
Tamale Dinner - The SONlight Life Group of Lynwood Baptist Church gathered together on March 29th to make homemade tamales and then share a Mexican styled meal together. There were about 26 members present with four guests.

CAPE GIRARDEAU SAFE HOUSE WRAP PARTY - Our class selected the Cape Girardeau Safe House for Women as a ministry to provide Christmas gifts for the current residents. Once names were selected and gifts were purchased, Mary Ann and Jerry hosted a Wrap Party at their house. I have to tell you that the women wrapped while the men 'rapped. Everyone had a great time. As we were leaving the party, we were greeted by a fresh blanket of snow on the ground.
