Official Website for the ST LOUIS PATRIOTS Homeschool Boys Basketball Program
Welcome to the official website for St. Louis Patriots Homeschool Boys Basketball. The original St. Louis Patriots Homeschool Boys Basketball Program, as started in 2002, is made up of Christian homeschooled boys in grades 7-12 from the greater St. Louis area. The Patriot squads play Jr. High, Junior Varsity, and Varsity teams from private, Christian, independent, and other homeschool programs in Illinois and the greater St. Louis area.
Our team is unequivocally Christian in its conduct, practice, and attitude. Our desire is to represent the Lord in all that we do, both on and off the court. Our hope is that our actions and demeanor will speak louder than the words on this page.
The St. Louis Patriots Boys Basketball Team welcomes any inquiries from prospective players and from teams interested in scheduling one or more games and/or tournaments with us. Please contact Judy Maichel, our schedule coordinator, at (314) 352-1319 if your team is interested in scheduling a game. We are pleased to announce the St. Louis Patriots Boys Basketball Camp for homeschool boys who will be entering grades 5-12 in the fall.
This camp will be held at Twin Oaks Presbyterian Church located at Hwy 141 and Big Bend.
The camp dates will be three Tuesday evenings: July 14, 21, 28
- grades 5-8.....6-7:30PM;
- grades 9-12....7:30-9PM
The camp will be led by our Patriot coaches.
The camp is for homeschool boys entering grades 5-12. We will be teaching basic and advanced individual and team basketball skills and strategies as well as having some scrimmage time.
Please preregister via e-mail (mjmaichel@sbcglobal.net) with name, age, and fall grade of each boy participating along with parents' names, phone number, and e-mail. Cost is $10 to participate; payable when you arrive.
Future camps and tryout dates for homeschool boys entering grades 7 to 12 will be announced via e-mail and posted on this website as details become available.

- Varsity will try to have 3 practices a week.
- Junior Varsity will try to have 2 practices a week.
- Junior High will have 1 practice a week with a second optional practice.
We will be using several different gyms this season. We have every Thursday evening through the season at Parkway South Middle School. Please carefully check the locations as noted on the calendar.
