Welcome To Kiwanis Club of Webster Groves, Missouri
Thank you for visiting the Kiwanis Club of Webster Groves!Who we are...
Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time.
Kiwanis International is a service organization whose mission is "Serving the Children of the World". The organization was founded in 1915 in Detroit, Michigan and is now based in Indianapolis, Indiana. Its original purpose was to exchange business between members and to serve the poor. This debate was resolved in 1919 when the organization adopted a service mission. The organization was for men-only until 1987.
Kiwanis Club of Webster Groves, Missouri, was founded 1939. The club currently has 20 members.
This site is designed to provide information and resources to our members and other people of the community who are interested in learning more about Kiwanis. If you do not find answers to your questions at this site, please contact us by using the form at the bottom of this page.
November 7th, Club Business Meeting; Note: We now meet on the FIRST Tuesday of the month!
Donation to Camp Sherwood Forest to provide camperships for youth.
Sponsor a Webster Groves High School student to attend Missouri Boys State Leadership training program.
May 5 Our annual Spaghetti Dinner fund raiser. We would like to thank everyone for making this a success. We also would like to thank our sponsors; BROCKELMEYER CONSTRUCTION and QUALITY HEATING and COOLING for their support, along with the Webster Groves High School Key Club for their service and support.
May 2nd, We awarded four, $1000 scholarships to Webster Groves High School Seniors.
On April 29th we held a plant sale at the Webster Groves Rec-Plex to help fund our service.
We had a baby shower and donated much needed supplies for newborns to support Family Support Networks Pathways Program at the Olive Branch Shelter.
Family Support Network thanked us for our donations in support of their services.
January 21st Several of our members judged the Pinewood Derby for Cub Scout Troop 303 at Avery School. A donation was made to help fund the Scouts activities. This celebrated 20 consecutive years of our service to the event.
Webster Groves Day Care thanked us for our donation, which is being used to help needy families.
Our Adopted Christmas family was very appreciative of the generosity of our club. Our donations made for a very special Christmas, especially for their children.
“We have a progressive dinner and auction. This year we will go to a member’s house for an appetizer, then to another member’s house for dinner and auction, and then to another member’s house for dessert. The auction features items donated by members. We have a good time!”
We have a Halloween Party complete with costumes and a "White Elephant" auction.
A Christmas Party with a unique gift exchange.
