This site has contact information, links to other Toastmasters, resources and information about Webster Groves Club 461 meetings.
Toastmasters is a place where you can improve your public speaking abilities through prepared, as well as, extemporaneous speeches. It is a place where you receive valuable feedback and learn to evaluate others. It is a place to learn how to run your meetings smoothly and efficiently. Best of all, finding the right club gives you a new group of friends that have a common goal and interest in seeing each other succeed.
Come visit our club with no obligation to join. If you find that this is the right club for you, taking that next step of becoming a member will be easy.
A Toastmasters club provides a mutually supportive and positive learning environment where every member has the opportunity to develop communication and leadership skills. This, in turn, fosters self-confidence and personal growth.
Toastmasters International’s core values are integrity, dedication to excellence, service to the member, and respect for the individual. These are values worthy of a great organization; and, we believe we should incorporate them as anchor points in every decision we make. Our core values provide us with a means of not only guiding but also evaluating our operations, our planning, and our vision for the future.
There will be no meeting held on Sept. 22. Next meeting will be Sept. 29.
Regular meetings are held weekly at the Oak Bend Library Meeting Room. Please come visit our meeting as a guest. There is no commitment or obligation to come see what we are all about! Our meetings are on Tuesday nights from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the Oak Bend County Library, 842 S. Holmes Ave, north of Big Bend Blvd.
Club Meeting Format. Every meeting has a set agenda to follow. The Toastmaster for the evening, uses the Meeting Format Document to stay on-track. Glance at it to see the order of business followed during a typical meeting.
