ADMINISTRATIVE PROFESSIONALS DAY COMMITTEE

The committee coordinates what the chapter will do in honor of Administrative Provessionals Week and/or Day (APW/APD). The committee has organized annual Manage to Laugh Conferences the last four years

The 2008-2009 Committee consists of the following members:

CERTIFICATION COMMITTEE


The committee promotes and publicizes the IAAP certification programs and counsels prospective candidates. They also encourage members and non-members to work toward certification and re-certification and counsel individuals on qualifications and requirements. They may do this through seminars, classes, or study groups to fill the individual needs of candicates.

The 2008-2009 Committee consists of the following members

COMMUNITY SERVICE & RETIREMENT CENTER COMMITTEE


The committee selects and coordinates community service project(s). They also promote the Retirement Trust Foundation (RTF) and develops a means of producing revenue for contributions ot the RTF.

The 2008-2009 committee consists of the following members:

BYLAWS & STANDING RULES COMMITTEE


The committee is tasked with reviewing chapter Bylaws and Standing Rules annually to ensure they fit the particular needs of the chapter and conform to International Bylaws and Standing Rules. The committee also makes automatic grammatical, punctuation, and correlation corrections and sends up-to-date copies of the chapter Bylaws and Standing Rules to the C-W-M Division Bylaws and Standing Rules Committee for review.

The 2008-2009 Committee consists of the following members:

EDUCATION & PROGRAMS COMMITTEE


The committee fills a full slate of programs for the year, lines up speakers, arranges meals, and does a wonderful job keeping chapter members informed on a variety of topics.

HISTORICAL/NEWSLETTER COMMITTEE


The committee prints and distributes bi-monthly newsletters and keeps the chapter scrapbooks up to date.

MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE


The committee is responsible for recruiting and retaining membership and planning the annual IMPACT meeting.

WAYS & MEANS COMMITTEE


The committee plans professional fund raising events as needed to keep the chapter's treasury solvent.
