Welcome Kennedy Elementary Crusaders!

Thank You for your interest in Kennedy’s Parent Teacher Organization.

We look forward to getting to know you as we work together this year. You might even make a new friend or two yourself.

Remember, even an hour or two, as your schedule permits, helps enrich your child’s Kennedy experience.

Get involved! You’ll be glad you did.
PTO Meetings are held at the school during the first week of each month at 7:00pm. Watch the website, Tuesday folder, or newsletter for more information!
We use this time to budget, have our work sessions, and discuss ideas for improving the Kennedy Experience for Students and Staff.
Please fill out a contact form with your interests and talents. We can contact you by phone or e-mail as activities come up.
There are many opportunities to get involved at Kennedy throughout the year, and you can make a difference whenever your schedule allows.

Principal's Corner

Mr. Ricketts would like to see the parents of Kennedy recognize the teachers of Kennedy for all of their hard work! Each month during the school year KTVM consults with a selection committee of school Superintendents in our viewing area who review nominations sent in to our NBC Montana Website and directly to the station. Our wonderful Production team creates a video profile for the selected teacher that is available for viewing on as well as airing for a week on TV.

Let's get out there and nominate our teachers for the KTVM Gold Star Teacher's Award! Copy and paste the link below into your browser for more information!

In the Classrooms:

Kindergarten: Check with Mrs. Delaney for classroom activities.

In Mrs St.Pierre's class: We will be having a different “Letter of the Week” every week.
We will be starting show and tell later in September. Book order forms will be handed out at the Learning Lunch. I have set up an on-line class so parents can order from home. They will still be able to order with the form if they do not have access to a computer or if they just feel more comfortable filling out the order form and sending it to school with a check.
There will be an opportunity monthly to order books for their child as I will be sending book order home monthly.
Reading is a Journey will also start in September. Lots of INFORMATION to be shared at the “Learning Lunch”
Starting the new Science Curriculum; very excited about that.

First Grade: Check with Mrs. Giono or Mrs Donaldson for classroom activities.

Second Grade: Check with Mrs. Hill or Mrs. Ayres for classroom activities.

Third Grade: Check with Mrs. Randolph or Ms. Dalaserra for classroom activities.

Mrs. Hawbaker's class website is linked (<----on the Left of this page).

Fifth Grade: Check with Mrs. Spangler for classroom activities.
