I know Thank You’s normally come at the end of a charity run, but today I just wanted to go ahead and say Thank You. This isn’t done by me alone. Thank You mom for starting the first one! You will never know how much that meant for you to ask that of me. Poor Bobby, He puts up with so much and says nothing, except what can I do to help and watch the disappearing of our guest room, I love you baby!! Then there are my poor close friends and family, from January till the day of, they put up with emails, calls, favors and forwards. There are a few I can really call out, but I hate to do that because I would leave someone out, BUT you know who you are Wow; there is Carmen Brown from 98.7. She was something else last year. She helped me so much and to be able to give back to her by helping with something so important to her this year is the least I can do to say thank you. Oh and to my new friends who have jumped on board, you guys are amazing. To all the people and local businesses that donated items for the Chinese auction, you all are so generous and with your donation so many children will be helped. Also the donations of animals, books, toys and blankets..The smiles I know each item will bring-Thank You! Last but not least…To everyone one that comes to this page, I hope you can make it...Ride or Party afterwards...This is not possible without You and your prayers. I have never had so much support. (Look at last year’s LOL) To say thank you seem so small but here it is THANK YOU!!! I have been so touched and blessed personally by this event (last year and now). That if I make one child smile, it’s been worth it. XOXO
This is a little add on to my Thank You note. This is written June 1st; this ride has truly been an inspiration to me. I have met (in person and online) the best people. I have heard the best stories, shared memories and make I know life long friends. My suggestion to everyone, take time go to flea markets talk to the people, you will be inspired. Just goggle craft web sits and read the bios and you will be amazed at the people and their stories. When you hear of all the destruction, turn on the news and its nothing but bad news- this has renewed my spirit so much. I do believe this ride is truly a work of God, it has been for me.
