Saturday, 2/21/2004 - First outside team practice.
The sound of balls popping the glove and the crack of the bats is music to the ears. The weather couldn't have been better for the first practice. Hopefully the coming weeks will bring the same.
After all of the boys welcomed each other back and met the new guys it was time to get to work. A good 15-20 mintues of throwing, followed by a solid round of BP on the field, an extensive round of infield/outfield, and a little more BP in the cage and on the field left everyone wore out but ready for the season to start. With just a few more weeks until the season beings the Knights are working hard so they can be a team at the top this year.
With the guys returning from last year and the new guys that have joined the team Greg and Ken have quietly built a team that will make some noise in the National League this year.
Sunday, 3/7/2004 :
Today was a great practice and really showed what this team is capable of doing on a diamond. With the rest of last years players arriving and the return of some injured players from last year the Knights have finalized the roster and look to build the team chemistry in the upcoming weeks. With solid players offensively and defensively at every position the Knights are quietly becoming a team that can no longer be over looked.
