Den Meetings

Den meetings occur at 7:00 on the first three Monday nights of the month at Flag Springs UMC. The exception to the rule is if there is no school in Randolph County Schools, there is no Cub Scouts. We met in seperate rooms by den. The scouts work on their requirements for their badges and awards. They occassionally go on one field trips as well.

Pack Meetings

We have a pack meeting the fourth Monday of every month. This is a time when we gather all the dens with and their families. The scouts perform skits, show off their projects they have completed during the month, and receive the awards they have earned. This is a special time of recognition and celebration.

PACK 513 WANTS YOU

If you want your son to have some fun, excitement, outdoor opportunities, and a chance to participate in a program in which he doesn't always have to win—instead,
• He learns about "Do your best" and how to be helpful to others—then we have just the program for you!

Each Cub Scout learns to respect his home, country, and other people. The program also helps boys this age to:

• Learn new physical skills through sports, crafts, and games.
• Learn how to get along with others through group activities.
• Develop new mental skills such as writing and calculating.
• Develop personal independence.
• Learn to make values-based decisions that assist them throughout their adult life.

If your son is in 1rst grade thru 5th grade, Pack 513 invites you and your son to become part of one of America’s leading values-driven organizations. The Cub Scout program is a valuable resource that can help families accomplish worthy goals while building and strengthening relationships within the family.

Don’t forget every Cub Scout year includes other fun things like: Pinewood Derby Races, Picnic Swim Party, Overnight camping, fishing, Hiking, field trips, etc.

Click here for more information about how your son can join.

PARENT VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Each year we have a transition of leaders out of the pack on to Boy Scouts.
As these leaders move with their sons, there are leadership roles to fill in Pack 513.
Parents/Relatives/Guardians are asked to help Your son and OUR SCOUTING PROGRAM by filling a Pack Leadership Role.

“The spirit is there in every boy; it has to be discovered and brought to light.”
Sir Robert Baden-Powell, Founder of Scouting

NEW TO SCOUTING?

If your child is interested in scouting or new to our pack and requires assistance with purchasing a shirt or his book, please contact the a pack leader.
Our goal is to support any boy who wishes to participate in Cub Scouting. All requests will kept in confidence.
